The House · Or & Kavod

We exist to keep a person’s light.

Or & Kavod is not a gallery of objects. It is a House built for one purpose — to honor people, and the moments that made them matter, in works of illuminated art.

Why we exist
Photographs fade in albums. Names settle onto stone. The people we love deserve to remain present — not filed away.

The ones the world admired, and the ones only we knew, share the same fate: with time, they slip from the room and into memory. A House was needed for a single, quiet task — to hold them here.

Or & Kavod gives a person presence. Each work is a face sculpted in aluminium and lit from within, so that someone is not merely remembered, but kept — in the room, in the light of an evening, part of the life that continues.

This is the whole of our purpose: to honor people through light.
What we believeFive values, one light
Honor
Every face is given the reverence of a monument.
Memory
We keep people present, never filed away.
Light
Light is not decoration. It is presence.
Legacy
What we make is meant to be inherited.
Gifting
The most meaningful gift is a person, kept.
The House & the atelier

Or & Kavod presents. Art & Star makes.

Or & Kavod is the House — the voice that honors these works, gives them their meaning and their place, and carries them into the world. Art & Star is the atelier where each one is born, by hand, over many years of devotion to the human face.

The House gives the work its purpose; the atelier gives it its soul. Together, they let a person become light.
